What Verde means
Verde is the Spanish word for green, and it was chosen for two literal reasons. Green is what copper becomes with age — the verdigris on a century-old roof. And green is the language of material given a second life rather than extracted for the first. Verde is built on recycled copper: the name and the material tell the same story.
The name was also chosen to outlast a single metal. A company that intends to grow beyond copper cannot carry a name that ends at it.

Heat and batch number, chemical composition, conductivity, dimensional conformance, electrical and mechanical properties — issued with every consignment.
Chemical, electrical, mechanical and dimensional testing under our own roof, which means direct control over verification rather than a queue at someone else’s lab.
The furnace is charged with graded copper scrap, so the material is given a second life without giving up the conductivity window.
Every finished coil is linked back to its source scrap batch. If a conductor is ever questioned in the field, the record goes all the way back to the bay.
From scrap to finished rod
Verde runs a continuous casting and rolling line: recycled copper is melted once, cast on a Properzi-type wheel and rolled on its own heat, then quenched, waxed and certified. Scroll to follow the metal down the line.
Copper scrap is graded and sorted before it enters production, and the batch is recorded. Everything measurable about the finished rod is decided by what is allowed in here — which is why the coil that leaves can still be traced back to this pile.

About Verde
Verde is what happened when two copper families stopped working separately. A century of knowing the metal, put behind a mill that was commissioned complete.
1960s
The family association with copper begins in the scrap trade — grading it, sourcing it, knowing what a batch is worth by looking at it. Decades before there was a furnace of our own to charge.
Four generations
What accumulates across four generations is not a process document. It is the judgement that tells you which scrap will hold its conductivity and which will not — and it only transfers by working alongside someone who already has it.
2008
Two families formalise as one business for the first time. It is the entity Verde trades under, and the point at which an inherited trade became a company with obligations to a specification.
Commissioned
A modern FRHC continuous casting and rolling line at Salarpur, in the RIICO industrial area at Bhiwadi. 58,000 MT of annual engineered capacity, built complete rather than grown in stages — which is why the specification holds from the first coil.
